- LLLukasJun 6, 20251.0The customer service that I received on Thursday, June 5 at 9:29am was terrible. First, when I walked in, I was not greeted in any way. There was a man standing behind the counter, slouched over, on his cell phone. He didn't even look up. After being unable to locate the flat rate shipping boxes/envelopes, I asked for help. He pointed me in the direction of the flat rate boxes/envelopes and stated "all of them are $10 flat rate shipping." When I asked the question "it doesn't matter the size of the box/envelope?" he answered with "no." I packaged the item and then brought it to the counter. He proceeded to tell me that it was going to be $19 and some change to ship the box. I said "well this is very different from the $10 that you told me." I then proceeded to question him and he said "no matter what box or envelope that you choose from the flat rate selection, the price is going to be the same." I then informed him that I had looked online and that there was a different shipping charge for each size of box/envelope. He goes "well you can try to put it in a different size and we can see what it tells me the shipping charge is going to be, but I see this every day and it isn't going to be any different. This is just how FedEx is." Long story short, I packaged the item in the smallest envelope that I could find in the flat rate selection and it cost $10 to ship the item. I was told that it came with no insurance and that insurance would be an additional $1. He also said it would arrive Monday (it is arriving today, the very next day). I opted for no insurance, paid, and left. I will not return so long as this type of customer service is offered at this location. I read several other reviews and it seems like this is an issue for this location. This guy doesn't know what he is talking about. All the information that he provides is inaccurate. It sounds like he would benefit from additional training.

From the moment I walked in, the customer service agent's behavior was unprofessional and childish. Despite providing all necessary information to track my package, including my ID and tracking number, the agent was uncooperative. After taking my driver's license, he intentionally picked it up and threw it three times. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects a lack of respect for customers. I have never experienced such low-quality service at any other establishment. I hope FedEx addresses this issue to prevent future occurrences.
