- EEEmeraldJade66Sep 2, 20231.0Every time I've called the Appomattox Post Office NO ONE answers the phone! No matter how many times you call and how many hours especially on a Sat. you'll never get an employee to actually pick up the phone. Just called and it's a Saturday morning and again no one answered. I think they only have ONE clerk on duty on Saturdays which is unreal!!! This is NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS especially a GOVERNMENT business!!!!! Sometimes you can't go in person and may have postal questions that need to be addressed thus why you should be able to call on the phone and talk to an employee. Beyond tired of this place to say the least. And it's beyond me how it continues to run as it is never mind there's constant complaints especially since the Post Master came on board a few years back! Will be closing my PO Box and going to another Post Office even if I have to drive to it because it's obvious NOTHING will ever be done to CHANGE things in this unorganized non-caring facility.
