I realize there may be systemic issues with how the United States postal system is run as a whole, but I nevertheless had a very pleasant experience at the counter just now. The woman who took care of my shipment was very friendly, attentive, and personable. She turned this mundane errand into a delightful human transaction.

Terrible service. I took an item here and put it in the parcel drop box. The item never got scanned into their tracking system and the item was never received where it was supposed to be going. I’ve filled a claim with no response. Lost a $150 item. Will not be using usps anymore.

Since this is a government entity, which believes it is immune from liability, I'm sure this review won't amount to anything, but I'm putting it out there all the same in case others have experienced what I have. On Dec 15th my postal carrier walked across my landscaping, damaging some of my plants and breaking some of my Christmas decorations. I happened to be home at the time so I went outside to confront him. Rather than apologize and say it wouldn't happen again, this USPS employee began to swear at me and threatened me with bodily harm. He then got in his truck and began to circle my house several times, in what I can only assume was an attempt to continue his harassment. I've submitted several online complaints, all of which get closed without resolution. Good luck actually getting a hold of this post office by phone. The several times I've tried calling (during business hours) it rings for several minutes before disconnecting. I've been told various stories in their email and voicemail responses, ranging from he was a new employee (as if that excuses violent threats) to he's actually a senior employee, and they can't relocate him to a new route because of his union contract. Each and every sorry excuse ends with the same "its his word against yours, so there's nothing we can do". Long story short, the USPS continues to allow an employee who damaged my property and threatened me with violence to deliver mail to my house. If you can avoid doing ANY business with the USPS, I would strongly encourage you to do so. Unfortunately, because this is a government organization they believe they are above the law and immune from liability.

They lie, stating they will get the lock changed on Friday. They didn't. Oh we will get it changed by Monday at the latest. They didn't. Such liars
