!! CONSUMER ALERT !! I have been using this post office for over 25 years and they typically have been excellent ... until today. I stopped by at noon to mail a letter. Weighed it on the self service scale: 1.00 ounces. I had put a forever stamp on it. But just to be sure, I went to the window and asked the female clerk. Without weighing my envelope, she tells me that my envelope needs one more forever stamp or she won't accept it for mailing. Last week, I mailed a letter that was just over 1 ounce, and as of this writing, that would require an additional 29 cents of postage, not the $0.78 of a forever stamp. When I asked if I could add 29 cents of additional postage using the individual USPS stamps that I brought with me, the woman became angry and told me that she would only accept a forever stamp. She said that the Orem Post Office is no longer accepting stamps that are not forever stamps. Where do they find these people??? Please be aware that AT LEAST ONE CLERK AT THIS POST OFFICE IS ACTIVELY ATTEMPTING TO SCAM CUSTOMERS BY DEMANDING THEY GIVE HER FOREVER STAMPS as a tribute or bribe in the form "extra postage." Of course, I refused her demand to pay her a bribe as that is illegal and said I would go to another post office. Ten minutes later, I visited the Mountain Shadows post office about 2 miles away, the staff there kindly confirmed that my 1.00 ounce letter size envelope would not require any additional postage and accepted it for mailing with just the one forever stamp. Please be on the lookout for this dishonest and unethical female post office clerk. If you're mailing anything valuable, please consider using another location. A clerk who is so brazenly unethical in flouting postal regulations at the desk in front of a line of other people will surely not hesitate to open your packages and pilfer from them anything she likes. Shame that such dishonesty is allowed by the USPS. It used to be such a venerable institution, but these are changing times.

I hate this usps. I wouldn’t go here if it wasn’t so close to me. The workers are always rude and dismiss you. I’ve had multiple occasions where they just blatantly tell me they can’t help me, when other locations have. They also made my sister go through the line 5 times because she was doing international shipping and they wouldn’t help her. I suggest not coming here if you can help it.

Lost my package. Said it was delivered it's been a week and no sign of it. I have filed requests to find my missing mail and meet with radio silence. They seem to be able to deliver my junk mail on time but lose my packages.
