Okay, I’m gonna say this mostly because I’m frustrated. After waiting weeks for my package to arrive it finally says it is at my local post office, giving me hope it would be delivered today like it originally said. The delivery time randomly disappeared, thus confusing me. Out of hope though I went and got my mail today and nothing was in the box, making me more annoyed. So I called USPS, and after MULTIPLE tries I finally got through to someone and was told I could just pick the package up, and all I would have to do is show my ID. I drove all the way out there, spoke to the clerk who kind of had an attitude while I was talking to her. I mentioned that I would like to pick up my package, and I showed her the tracking number in order to do so. She seemed confused so I told her I was told I could pick it up today and this is when she started giving me an attitude. Starting off by asking me harshly on who said I could do that, and I just had to tell her the post office clerk because I didn’t know the name. She then went on and said they shouldn’t have told me that and I asked her if I could pick up my package anyways since I was there. She said she could go check and see where it is. She went back and looked, came back and told me she couldn’t find it and I would have to wait till Monday to receive it. So not only is my package now late, but I also got a salty woman, was not allowed to pick up MY almost 100 dollar package after being told I could do so, but I also drove all the way out there for nothing, making me leave empty handed and with a waste of gas as well. Which is just beyond frustrating. I just believe I shouldn’t have been lied too, and gotten an attitude from the worker because the USPS misspoke. It’s not my fault, so why am I the one getting the issues.

Supervisor for Farr West area refused to enforce postal law. She told me to get a post office box in ogden and do a 40 minute ride to pickup my mail everyday. She needs to be briefed on mail box regulations and do her job. I have a mailbox within 20 feet why would she tell me to do a 40 minute drive just so she didn't have to follow the law.

You’d think they’d answer the phone and be there to help right? Even like after 10 calls? Or days of trying to call them? Edit: changed to three because Mandi was very professional and helpful
