I would give this post office zero stars if I could. Go to Cottonwood Heights or Sandy instead!! This place is nothing short of a nightmare. Every single employee I've encountered here is rude, callous, un-empathetic, clipped in their responses, and doesn't even pretend to show empathy toward their customers. No exceptions. I've never experienced this at other local post office locations. I always go out of my way to be kind and understanding with service workers. I realize they are under immense stress with poor working conditions. But still, these employees' attitudes remain entirely indifferent at best and outright hostile at worst no matter what. This post office is extremely understaffed, compared to other, nearby locations. There are never more than one, or on rare occasions, two people working there at a time. I was unable to pick up my mail from the mailbox for a few weeks, for multiple reasons. USPS marked my address as vacant, and returned everything in my mailbox to their respective senders without notifying me or anyone else in my household. This is the second time in a year that they have done this to me. If you call this post office location, the option to speak to an actual person simply doesn't exist. There is no possible way I could have notified them about why I didn't pick up my mail. I was unable to make it to either my mailbox or their physical location until recently. I've lived in many different states and countries, and have never encountered so many people who go out of their way to be rude in any other place as right here in Midvale, Utah in the area near State Street. Those few blocks should be avoided at all costs, if possible.
