- ECEvelyn CurryMay 14, 20263.0I was out on my porch, with my dog, when the mailman walked across the neighborhoods yard, to my drive way. I was setting out plants and did not see him cutting across the yard. He had parked his truck down the road. My dog barked, i quickly put him in the house, the mailman turned away from my house to the road. I asked if I had any mail, he said, “Yes, but you won’t get it until tomorrow.” I then replied, “No, I want it today.” To which he replied, “Then you will have to walk to the road.” Even though my dog was in the house, he made me walk to the road. I’ve lived here for 4 1/2 years and have always kept my dog inside. Any of the people, that have delivered mail here knows that to be true. This was rare that my dog was out, on my porch, with me. In all fairness, I did not see the mailman coming or my dog would have been inside. I have a chocolate lab.
