- TLTracy LeafdaleDec 22, 20251.0The Post office opened my customers package and decided to add fees because I had reused old priority boxes inside a brown box with a ground shipping label. The priority boxes weren’t in a condition to use for priority mailing and so I used them as padding to protect their products inside of the brown box. They just charged my customer $85 for her to pickup her shipment. The weight was correct and the ground label was on the outside of a brown box and this should not have occurred.
- CLcAnDi LaNdSep 1, 20221.0Why is it a small town post office has to have such rude employees. The lady who is there most often, I believe her name is Terry is never pleasant. And when addressed with pleasantries, is just snippy no matter what. Today I was in and a no one was at the counter which is how it always is there and I rang the bell for service. After waiting a while and hearing nothing from the back I rang again. A bit more time went by and a larger gentleman without a name rage came from the back and exclaimed, “yes the door bell does work, it’s a very big building!”. I realize it’s the postal service and that it may seem like a necessary service and therefore doesn’t need customer service, but a nice hello goes a long way. Unfortunately, I’ve lived in this town for 4 years and there are no pleasant faces here. I actually make it a point to go to other locations closer to work, where no one snips at you like they hate their lives. Life is tough all over but good vibes go a long way.
