How is it possible that packages arrive badly damaged, that mail gets lost, and that I send letters and the other party doesn't receive them, and the letter is never received, it's lost, then they tell you they don't know When I went to complain about something else, I changed my address and the guy didn't make the change in the computer system. I went a second time, the same guy helped me and I told him to put it in the system. And I stood there waiting for him to do it because if he doesn't, it's 2026 and they have very advanced computer systems, how is it possible that the packages arrive broken and the correspondence...They're missing and there's no explanation. Are they stealing or what? That's federal. Employees, be very careful with what you're doing. OK

I received a notice from the carrier that there were issues with my mailbox. The notice indicated my box needed to be raised, securely fastened and level. It also indicated I needed to correct these issues within two weeks or they would stop delivery of my mail. Upon measuring, I discovered my box is indeed at the correct height (41"), it is securely fastened but does have a slight leave backward.
I called to talk to the post master, Nicole, to get clarification and ask about a possible timeline extension. As a single parent of two, a business owner and the main caregiver for an elderly parent who lives 45 minutes away, replacing a mailbox system is not able to be addressed in a two week timeframe. And regular mail delivery is essential for my business to continue.
I was told Nicole wasn't in but would call me back the next day. Understanding everyone is busy, I decided to try to call her back the next day since I hadn't heard from her. I was told again Nicole wasn't available, so I spoke with a supervisor, Viviana.
I felt "handled" by Viviana rather than listened to, but I remained pleasant. She wasn't able to answer several of my questions though and I could hear someone else coaching Viviana about how to respond. After saying goodbye, Viviana didn't hang up right away, and I heard her say to whoever was coaching her, "Yeah, she knows how to work the system".
I think navigating life is difficult enough without mean-spirited assumptions like this being made. I am a customer, trying to comply with your requirements in order to continue mail service, while balancing a very busy life.
Viviana, please be kinder, more understanding and considerate, and do not assume that just because someone is asking questions, they are "working the system". It was a hurtful and untrue accusation to make.
