  The guy behind the counter barely acknowledged me. Never said hello, never said thank you, didn't even ask how he could help me. At least he wasn't on his phone.

  I won’t ever use this location of UPS again. I sell items online and they messed up two of my orders and caused a lot of inconvenience to me like extra driving and time out of my day. As well as making me look bad to my customers (for their errors), which really upsets me. One example is I needed to package and ship a piece of artwork for a buyer. I called with the dimensions of the framed art and they quoted me a “conservative estimate” of $60. When I got there the next day, the manager told me I had been given the wrong price and it would actually cost $127 to ship the artwork. 😳😡 What?!? All the sudden it was going to cost double of their “conservative estimate”? I lost the sale and had to reimburse the buyer and I drove an hour round trip for this mistake. Then on top of it, instead of apologizing to me, the manager kept making excuses “we don’t ship artwork that often” “they don’t know they need to add 2 inches around the frame” “usually it’s better if we have people bring it in before giving a cost” (These would be very great things to actually train your staff to know about vs expecting me to know!) It would have been VERY nice to know any of this when I called in the first time. Again, how is it my responsibility as a customer to know that? She really rubbed me the wrong way on both of the occasions I interacted with her, mainly because she didn’t realize that an actual APOLOGY would go a long way. Instead the only thing she seemed interested in doing was back pedaling and over-explaining and making excuses for their stupid errors. Do better UPS, especially if this incompetent woman is considered your manager. Pick managers with actual managerial skills like teaching other staff members the correct method for measuring, boxing, and shipping artwork and other fragile pieces.
