- ETenoch timothyAug 24, 20261.0If I could give this post office zero stars, I would. During our visit to complete my son’s passport paperwork, the older Black woman assisting us was extremely rude and unprofessional toward both my son and my wife, who is his stepmother. She made a completely inappropriate comment to my son along the lines of, “That’s not your real mom.” An eight-year-old child should never be spoken to that way or dragged into adult family distinctions. My wife is part of his family, and that comment was disrespectful, hurtful, and entirely unnecessary. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated experience. Nearly every time we visit, the atmosphere feels hostile and the employees come across as rude and unwelcoming. There is only one white woman working there who has consistently been kind, polite, and helpful. To top it off, one of the counters had a sticker showing a cartoon cat inside a prison cell with a sign hanging around its neck that said, “I hate people.” Seriously? In a public-service workplace where employees interact with customers all day? That sticker perfectly reflects the attitude we have repeatedly experienced at this location. The postmaster needs to investigate the conduct and overall culture here. Customers—and especially children—deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Shameful, hostile, and completely unacceptable.

I saw some unfair reviews on here about a specific female clerk, and I completely disagree if it’s the same person. She has a sharp, no-bullshit personality and tells you exactly how it is, which I personally find refreshing and highly effective. People are just sensitive. She is perfectly nice if you are respectful in return. We actually talked about my trip and it felt nice how she responded. As for the complaints about the post office looking outdated, that is totally out of the employees' control. They are working hard to serve the Menomonee Falls community, and my service was excellent. Highly recommend!
