Had a message from the Mauston Mail person that an attempt to deliver a package at 2:02 PM on December 13, 2023 could not be made because the driveway and front door were not accessible. Hello, it was sunny and 50 degrees. Green grass and not one snow flake in sight. There were 2 small packages that they did deliver into my mailbox along with some mail. Today December 14, 2023 got a message that the package from the 13th was left at the Front door/porch area. That is Not True! The package was jammed so tightly into the mail box and half way hanging out with the door dangling. I had to struggle to get the package out, the package was crushed and the mailbox was bent and the plastic clasp was damaged. In my opinion the mail person didn't have the time to drive into my driveway on the 13th and place the package on our back covered deck, so my package was delayed a day. This is unacceptable service and shouldn't be happening.

The front door to our house is 10 foot from the road. I'm tired of items being damaged by the postal delivery person.
