- JMJ MBAug 19, 20261.0Avoid "Clerk 11" – Persistent Hostility and Zero Accountability I visited this location between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM to drop off a package and mail a 3-ounce certified business envelope. When the standard screen prompt regarding hazardous materials appeared, I made a mild, lighthearted observation about how thin and harmless the envelope was. The female clerk ("Clerk 11") reacted with immediate, unprovoked hostility. She told me it was a "stupid joke," told me to be quiet, called me names, and stated out loud completely unprompted: "I remember 9/11 and it's not a joke." Because of her aggressive behavior, I asked the adjacent clerk, Shawn, to take over the transaction. She handed my paperwork over and walked off to the back. When I asked for her first name to report the incident, both Shawn and the on-duty Station Manager refused to provide it, referring to her only as "Clerk 11" and citing concerns about "social media." The manager openly acknowledged to me that this clerk was "having issues" and was short-tempered earlier in the day. When asked about facility security footage, the manager stated he was unsure if the lobby security camera even functioned. Looking at previous Google and Yelp reviews, it is clear that "Clerk 11" has a documented, multi-year history of mistreating, scolding, and berating customers at this counter, while local management enables it by shielding her identity. As a disabled veteran conducting routine business at a federal counter, this treatment was completely unacceptable. If you must use this location, avoid "Clerk 11" or ask for a different clerk immediately. Formal reports have been logged with USPS District Management.
