I’ve been moved into a new apartment complex in this town for just over two weeks. I scheduled my mail forwarding and have not had mail delivered in over 15 days, despite the mailboxes being in place at the new apartment and ready for mail for over a week and a half. Every few days I have to keep stopping at this post office. They keep telling me my mail should start delivering tomorrow, every day I’ve stopped. The young lady behind the counter has been very blunt, and very rude/disconnected in her responses to everything going on. The postmaster has been wonderful, However, her abilities are also limited! Due to having two apartments both for the month of June, because of a Landlord issue, my Mail forwarding has been bouncing packages And mail between both post offices repeatedly between Columbus and Waupun. Due to this, my Amazon packages are Redelivering multiple times and causing even more extra shipping charges, and lost packages. Overall, I know some of this isn’t directly this location’s fault, but the attitude And sarcastic snotty remarks I get from the young female employee with the glasses, is uncalled for. I don’t think she understands the circus act and limbo that my mail is experiencing, and how frustrating that is. She has no empathy, which is a very poor customer service trait. One specific scenario was her telling me that informed delivery can be wrong up to 7 to 10 days late, as if I’m brand new to it. And I’ve already explained multiple times that I’ve had Informed deliveries since it started, at multiple different addresses, and I’ve never had issues like this. I’d appreciate if she took a second to listen and understand that problems like this can be frustrating, and approach her responses and her assistance, because it’s currently a lack thereof, to try and help the customers better. After I paid for the extra charges for the second time now for a package, she kept telling me I could just refuse it and send it back, but after I paid, she walked away from the counter and didn’t even say thank you, have a great day, nothing she just walked away in silence. That’s not customer service, that’s somebody who belongs in a different industry altogether. Sorry, not sorry.
