I went in the Saturday before Christmas to mail a package which I never do and wasn't really sure how to prep or anything...the lady behind the counter was kind and helped me thru the process and explained the best way to be prepared for next time in case they were busy. She was so sweet and kind. Great experience

I am actually surprised at the other reviews on here (which I only saw because I was checking Saturday hours). Our primary mail carrier, Ronnie, is awesome. She always brings our packages up the driveway to our house (in the country), and carefully places them out of the way of the weather. One time, I needed a package that was already loaded for delivery (as our delivery is consistently in the late afternoon), and upon contacting them, it was removed and left for me at the counter to pick up right away. I’m very happy with our mail service.

Postal Worker wouldnt give me our package. Wasnt busy at the time. Went in back area while I was trying to talk to her (Had ID and lived at residence). Horrid attitude. Wouldnt give me full name besides "Barb". Overall delivery to mailboxes isnt much better. Biggest issue is the rudeness that a couple employees seem to have. Might be a small town but there isnt any charm in the post office. Maybe get a PO box in Steven's Point and save yourself a sour experience.

USPS in the Amherst area is a complete joke! I was against them closing the U.S Postal Service but now I'm all in for them to completely disappear! Let's start with 2016 it's been the 6th time that driver doesn't leave my packages nor attempts to deliver the mail instead I get a note explains there poorly excuse of how lazy and pathetic they have become to deliver or mail & packages you get paid to deliver our mail not to be lazy and drive around looking cute! Do your jobs or quit! I'm fed up with your excuse and doing your job I live out in the county and need to take the time of my day to do your job! Great job guys! And don't give me excuses my neighbors use the same drive way and you deliver his stuff all the way to his footsteps! Yet find an excuse not to deliver kind? I feel like this is outta hand and you guys are not only unresponsibal but racist!
