I don’t even know where to begin—this experience has been deeply frustrating, disheartening, and honestly, unacceptable. I trusted USPS with an international package that contained items of both monetary and sentimental value. What arrived on the other end was a damaged, partially emptied box—contents missing, packaging torn, and no clear accountability. Seeing the condition it arrived in was upsetting enough, but what followed made the situation far worse. Filing a claim for a refund has been an exhausting and unnecessarily difficult process. Despite submitting clear photographic evidence showing the damage and missing items, there has been little to no meaningful progress. It feels like the system is designed to wear you down rather than help resolve legitimate claims. Communication from the corporate office has been slow, unhelpful, and at times outright dismissive. There’s a complete lack of transparency and urgency when it comes to addressing customer concerns. What made this even more disappointing was my experience at the local post office. The agent I worked with was rude, dismissive, and showed no willingness to assist or even acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. Instead of guidance or empathy, I was met with indifference—like my concerns were an inconvenience rather than a valid issue. At every level—local and corporate—this has felt like a system that avoids responsibility rather than standing behind its service. For an organization entrusted with handling people’s belongings across borders, this lack of care, accountability, and basic customer service is deeply concerning.

So mad. I moved to a new house and found out I was a part of a community mailbox I knew nothing about. I'm not part of the community or hoa, so I went to the post office to see if I could have my own mailbox actually at my house instead of down the road. I was mocked for my word choices and decisively told no. Watch out, Yakima, the usps is planning on forcing ALL streets into community mailboxes sometime soon (as told by the clerk)!! I certainly didn't consent or vote for this! Not only that but I'll get my mailbox key in a few days. The hold on my mail, since I can't get in the mailbox, and the change in address? Won't be active for at least a week! Making the hold entirely pointless!! Someone please make a rival mail service!
