Only delt with one staff person and she could care less about anything you ask or have concerns about.

It really is amazing how bad they are. They arbitrarily decide to return packages to sender if the name of the recipient doesn't exactly match those on file. Only when they feel like it, apparently, such as when an overseas birth record that took months to receive from the State Department has someone's maiden name on it. They sent that back. Yet they put former box holder's mail in my box all the time. Today, and this is no rare occurrence, they put the man's mail from the next box into mine right on top of mine. They put a package in my box that was for my uncle, who is not on my card and doesn't even have a PO box in Stevenson, because he shares a last name with me. That's an arbitrary decision like I mentioned. Then woman had the nerve to deny any fault on their behalf and was too simple to understand my complaint about the arbitrary application of the rules. Recently we've had packages from Amazon getting sent through USPS to our rural route box. The number that USPS claims have been left in the mail box, but which are not there, has been steadily growing. I found one sitting on the hood of my car getting rained on two days after the delivery notice, 300 yards from the mail box and 100+ feet from my house. The delivery notice said it was in the mail box. The worst thing is that you have no recourse. If the delivery person says he left it in the box, that's the final word. It doesn't really matter what he did with it as he's just going to stick to his story. They don't take pictures like Amazon. Service is rude and irritable aside from one employee who is sweet but extremely slow and difficult to communicate with. It's just not a well operated post office, and in fact it's the only bad one I've ever seen and the only time in my 35 adult years here where I couldn't trust the place. Hopefully Amazon will start using their own residential delivery service out here and drop the arrangement with USPS. I'll barely have any reason to use them at all then. Or maybe I'll just move to carson. How is that one? Can't be worse.

Beware of the woman postal clerk, who seemed to be the manager. Went in on Friday at approx. 1:45 pm to mail a package. She was rude, asked questions and did not give time to answer, talked in inappropriate tones and made it a miserable process, but still collected money.
