- CHChris HortonApr 29, 20261.0As a local business owner who works in both Oregon & Washington, I rely on my customers downpayments/ final payments.. These matters are urgent for both myself and the customer as I dont put them on schedule until I receive payment.. For the last few months our local Rosburg postal service has been slipping bad.. I have had several customers recently send checks that had never come.. then a month and a half later they finally arrive.. this is becoming all to common.. Today I opened my box to find someone else's mail.. so happes its very personal info with extremely sensitive information.. I although haven't received my own mail for over a week. This isn't right as I have over 100k in deposits that have been dropped in the mail 3 weeks ago and still haven't arrived.. Not to mention.. My road is very clearly posted 25 mph.. residential while being rural.. we all have kids and dogs that cross the road hourly.. the new individual delivering mail out here passes by the house so fast it rattles the windows, well over 40 mph.. There seems to be a lack of attention to detail, lack of leadership, and a lack of pride when serving your community.. of course there is Noone you can report to, so I had to result to putting it here.. please step your game up.. this not only affects me, but also my neighbors and the rest of the community you dont serve.. thank you for your attention to this matter
