I accompanied a friend to this post office and witnessed an interaction with Lesha that I found unprofessional and disappointing. Her attitude toward the customer was dismissive and rude, and she appeared unwilling to provide basic assistance. Customer service should be respectful and professional, and unfortunately that was not my observation during this visit.

I have been a customer of the Lower Queen Anne Post Office for many years and have generally had positive experiences. Unfortunately, my interaction with Iesha Grey on June 8, 2026, was extremely disappointing.
I visited to send an Express Priority Mail package and asked her to verify the delivery date because the USPS website showed June 9. She repeatedly refused to check the system and insisted she already knew the package would arrive June 10. Only after several requests did she finally verify the information, and the system confirmed the June 9 delivery estimate I had seen online.
The issue was not the delivery date itself, but her unwillingness to assist, refusal to verify information when requested, and dismissive attitude throughout the interaction. Because of this experience, I chose to ship my package through FedEx instead.
I hope management addresses this situation, as this level of customer service does not reflect the positive experiences I've had with other employees at this location.

There’s nothing worse than going to run an errand and a service worker is so rude it ruins your day.
I rarely complain about service, I know it sucks working.. but the girl behind the counter with the braids was SO rude for no reason. I patiently waited in line, came up with a smile and a hello, and asked if the envelope I selected was the cheapest way to mail my item, I guess that was a too much to ask? She rudely said yes as if I was stupid and waved me away before saying “come back when you’ve actually filled it out the address”. I filled out my info, got back in line and she started taking packages from the front to the back one by one throwing them around in the back and making eye contact with me each time she came out, but not helping me or any of the 5 people behind me in line. There’s a “one way” mirror in the back where I could see her just standing there staring out at the line and laughing??? It literally felt like she was a mean girl in high school. Absolutely insane. I’ve worked in the service industry for years, and she clearly was not on a break, she was just avoiding helping with the line.. absolutely wild. I will not bother mailing anything here in the future.
