I came here about 15 minutes before they were about to close and there was a short white employee white male. they appeared to be a white male employee they were just not interested at all in helping me. all I had was a Walmart return to do but the internet reception in the building is so bad it took longer. I couldn't get the email to come up with the barcode I was also frazzled because I had just seen a store employee at the liquor store on the corner punch a customer in the face outside the store and I had to call 911. so I was really feeling just shocked and just discouraged that people saw this and kept walking and this woman was just laying on the ground on the sidewalk and nobody was doing anything about it. I came into the store to try to finish running my errand after calling the police from seeing this and at least this person at fedex could have been courteous. they were just so cold dry rude lifeless and mean. I told them what happened they weren't even interested. I was trying to get my barcode ready at the counter. they just kept walking off from the counter without saying anything. they didn't make any conversation or explain anything about the return process. they gave me my receipt at least But they said the bare minimum and when I say bare minimum I mean bare they barely said anything to me in the store I can't believe that this person is even allowed to work with people you can at least give someone a little bit of Personality I'm not saying that you have to be some bubbly overflowing cheerleader or be fake and disingenuous but you can at least just be a human being if someone tells you that they just saw somebody get assaulted outside of your store across the street. shouldn't you have a human empathetic or some kind of response? if you're not interested in crime happening outside the store fine but just as a human being person to person as someone who wants to come outside of the store when you clock out shouldn't you be concerned if not for the woman that got punched in the face but for yourself who has to walk past violence on the street? this employee just didn't give a damn about being at the counter helping people or anything and the store was empty. there wasn't anybody else so its not like i was holding up a line. maybe they had a bad day or just don't like working for FedEx but they shouldn't be allowed to work in the front they should be loading the trucks or something it just made my experience witnessing that attack on the street it just made me feel like the city and the world is just so cold and empty and that there's no Humanity left my interaction with this person if they have been just a shred bit of nice it would have helped after witnessing something like that walking down the street but this person just made it really sink in that there's no hope for Seattle at all came into the store having just witnessed a distressing incident outside, and the complete lack of basic human acknowledgement or professional courtesy from your staff made a difficult situation significantly worse

Looks like it hasn't gotten better since I was here two months ago. Especially this short black lady, despite taking a long break in the breakroom, still had a bad attitude after taking a long break while a long line of ten plus people formed by the pack plus area. Never in my life am I again going to use FedEx for my overnight bulk shipping needs.
