  When my local UPS store in fairwood left me in a bind with printing a poster for an event I am having next day I called Staple. Alejandro answered the phone and was SO helpful, he guided me on how to get my poster printed and within hours even though they were slammed. I did what he said, and when I called back he was gone for the day but a really nice person told me they were aware of it and it would be ready in an hour. When I got there michael helped me and he was clearly overwhelmed by how busy they were and my poster wasn't ready. I was flustered, something that was supposed to be done, and wasn't because of the ups store was now taking several hours longer and I had so much more to do. Michael printed it right away,was above and beyond and even honored mismarked clearance items for me. Staples not only has everything you need but the team at staple the landing are professional, kind and just genuinely human. Thank you, you saved my behind!!!

  If your in a pinch and need a quick print this is the place. I had an emergency this morning my home printer ran out of ink!! And Staples saved me! Thank you !!!

  I regularly use Staples for Amazon Returns as part of my work, and I’ve never had an experience as unpleasant as I’ve been having with the manager, Diljit, at the Renton Landing location. I intentionally come in during slower periods when I have multiple returns to avoid inconveniencing other customers. Despite this, Diljit has repeatedly refused to process more than 10 Amazon returns at a time and tells me I have to leave and come back another day. I’ve even offered to call ahead or use a separate register away from other customers—something this store has accommodated in the past—but he refuses every solution. What is most disappointing is the way he handles the situation. He speaks rudely under his breath while my returns are being processed, tells me Staples doesn’t make money from Amazon returns, and suggests I should be shopping there instead. Rather than speaking to me directly and professionally, he instructs his employees to relay the “10-item limit” to me, and while I’m being helped at a separate counter, other staff loudly call customers away to different registers as if my presence is causing a problem. The entire experience feels embarrassing and unwelcoming. If Staples has an official policy limiting the number of Amazon returns, that’s one thing. However, I have never been shown such a policy, and the issue isn’t simply the limit—it’s the unprofessional and disrespectful way it’s communicated and enforced. Ironically, this experience has cost Staples actual business. In my professional role as a commercial purchaser for a government-funded hospital on the Eastside, I regularly purchase office supplies, including large paper orders at a commercial level. Because of the consistently poor customer service at this location, I will be moving our office supply purchases to Office Depot instead. Customer service matters, regardless of whether someone is making a purchase, completing a return, or using a service that Staples has chosen to offer. I hope executive leadership addresses both the inconsistent handling of Amazon returns and the way customers are treated.

  Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, I was in there for way too long just to print 4 pieces of paper. Maybe 40 minutes total. They need to have a more efficient process.
