Rude front desk employees. Waited 20 minutes in line just to be met with a bad attitude + unhelpful. Employees need to be trained on manners + politeness.

I went in today for my kiddo’s passport appointment. Our situation is a bit more complicated as I am legal guardian to the applicant and not the birth parent. Joe, the person working the passport office, was extremely rude, chastising us multiple times for not having a photo ID for my kiddo who just turned 16. On the passport website it explicitly states that if a 16 year old has no photo ID, the parent or guardian can sign for them. I also didn’t fill out my paperwork ahead of time because I needed guidance on how to do it. Joe had no knowledge of how to fill out the paperwork when guardianship is involved and kept telling us that we could submit it but it would probably get rejected. Not knowing all of the answers is okay. We are only human. But being so incredibly rude throughout the entire appointment to your patrons is not okay. I left after only doing the photo portion and will take the application to submit elsewhere to someone that can be more helpful and less condescending.

Don’t waste your time trying to call and speak to an actual human. It will seem like they are about to connect you to an employee but then the call just drops. Every. Single. Time.

I haven't been able to get mail here via general delivery for over a year. It's been stressful as I'm living in a 2001 minivan for 3.5 years and donate plasma twice a week at CSL.. . 200 donations. I had sent my Medicaid, united healthcare and food stamps cards here back in early April. I never got any of them. I went there, but they said they couldn't find them. I called the post office general who launched an investigation... But the guy who runs the post office refused to look, said he was too busy. Don't send anything to this post office if you are homeless...Use Capital recovery in Olympia instead. You can get any mail and packages. I asked this post office manager how long they hold general delivery 2 years ago, and he said "10 days or 30." I was like which is it 10 or 30, and he said yea, "10 or 30".
