  I called ahead to ask whether they were able to take passport photos of young children, they said yes. When I arrived, they said they didn't. Frustrating.

  I brought two carefully prepared gift booklets to this location to have them spiral bound and provided a previously bound sample so there would be no uncertainty about how the finished products should look. When the employee brought the booklets back to me, neither one had been bound. On one, the holes had been punched on the wrong side. On the other, the pages had been cut so close to the edge that the booklet could no longer be bound properly. The proposed solution was to photocopy the materials I had brought in, but the replacement copies were unacceptable. They were printed double-sided when the originals were not, the colors were faded and inaccurate, and the overall quality was significantly worse than what I had provided. What made the experience especially frustrating was the lack of accountability. The employee responded, “I’m not perfect.” I was not expecting perfection. I was expecting reasonable care and basic competence, particularly after providing a clear physical example of the requested result. I spent considerable time creating these booklets and made a special trip to have them professionally finished. Instead, both were damaged, the attempted replacements were poor quality, and I left without usable finished products. This was an extremely disappointing experience.
