  Awful Post office. I had a package scheduled for delivery today, package was checked in at Gig Harbor, i went to check if it arrived to find that is was sent to Oak Harbor Wa....on Whidbey Island...and was not delivered. This has happened multiple times my package arrives in Gig Harbor, will be sent to a different facility sometimes in seattle or somewhere else just to be sent back and delivered late. The delivery drivers do not follow "deliver packages here" signs and will just leave them where they want. I live in an apt and have a small mailbox, i have had items damaged or ruined multiple times because the drivers shove, fold, bend, and smash packages that clearly dont fit, into the mailbox to make it fit. Instead of leaving it at my door, like every other deliver company does. They are careless.

  This has to be one of the worst post office is the lines are always extremely long transactions take forever and they don’t even tell you that you need ID on the form that you show up to pick up your package on. If it’s a requirement, it should be on the form!!

  Ive lived in Gig Harbor for 6 years...ive lived in a duplex and now an apartment. At the duplex they were too lazy to walk down a few steps to leave the packages at my door. My packages where regularly late, if it was a friday or sat i would get a text claiming that my package was "undeliverable" they would'nt leave a slip in the mailbox, which was at the road mind you. So i couldnt call and give a package number and inquire... then it would show up a day or two later at my neighbors door. Now at my current apartment, been here 3 years now, they shove everything they can into my mailbox, if i have packages that come in bags or envelopes they fold them or crush them just to get them in with the rest of my mail. My building and door is easily accessible you can park take a few steps and drop it off. Instead, because they are lazy, they damage my packages. Just recently they bent up a $100 dollar item by folding the bag to make it fit. They dont care about peoples belongings. When the package is truly too big for the mailbox, then they bring it to my door. However instead of respecting the sign i have, with an arrow pointing to the side, to put them out of sight. they leave it right in front of the door for everyone to see or they leave it at the worng apartment. Every other company puts things to the side as requested except USPS.

  Stop marking the place I'm staying at as vacent and give me my packages. I filled out a couple of the slips, and you keep doing this. It's a freaking shared mailbox with a package area. Stop being lazy or fire some people this is beyond silly. Im getting better service from ups and FedEx because they auctally deliver my stuff! The post service needs a reform or something drastic because it's garbage tier service. Im mad when it's the only option. Maybe 30% - 40% it gets stuff to me on time. I know this isn't going to fix the terrible service, but I feel better airing my frustration out and reducing the rating a bit, giving this one star.
