Was picking up a package sent from another UPS, that told me it would be held for a week for free. To my surprise they called me up saying I would be charged to pick up package (claiming UPS stores have different policies as they’re a franchise) When I arrived they tried to charge even more than the fees agreed on the phone. The money isn’t a huge deal but feeling deceived and ripped off is. Also the rate was too much to begin with. I see others have had the same issue with their property being held ransom and feeling it’s shady. Last time I can see myself using UPS services.
