Went in asking about the best way to mail a shirt, bubble envelope or small box, and the man at the counter just said “I don’t know” and “are you mailing this or not”. The customer service was poor and simply not helpful.

One of the guys helping is so rude. I asked him what’s the cheapest way to send this item I had and he responded “I don’t know!” with such attitude and tone that made it sound like I had asked the most ridiculous question. But isn’t that the kind of stuff you’re supposed to know and help customers with?

Would’ve given ratings in negative if possible but google doesn’t allow it. There’s an old lady(appears to be hispanic) that works there and is extremely rude in her demeanor. I had to return a parcel for a friend and it needed a USPS shipping label . I gave her an image of the label assuming that it would be possible for them to do it since it is USPS itself. She told me to go to UPS since they don’t do it there. When I asked her why that could possibly be the case, she basically said “ If we did it here,I wouldn’t have told you to go there!”. USPS should be ashamed to have employees like this that are so rude on the face to customers asking a simple question . Upon returning to the location unfortunately, when I gave her the label, she said “can you please stick it there?” as if it is my job to both print and stick the label. If you don’t have the basic decency to fire this person at least have the decency to let her know that you don’t have to be so rude to customers. She needs a lesson in etiquette and shouldn’t have a job. Good luck with such poor customer service and the reviews show it. Wish google would’ve allowed negative reviews for such bad attitude. This person should not have a job let alone USPS or not(as pathetic as it already is).

It is usually quick here at the NE 8th USPS Branch office. Diverse employees to serve you is a good thing. It can also be SUPER BUSY here, tho. Don't ask me when are those times, but it surely does. Being one of the very few offices in the Eastside to cater millions of residents' correspondence, logistics, supplies, and what not... you will be scratching your "not itchy" head when you're at the perfect timing of a busy time/day 😀 the building is forever years old and hasn't been updated or even got some spruce up ;) the wall that got drove-in a couple years back is now again safe.
