It is usually quick here at the NE 8th USPS Branch office. Diverse employees to serve you is a good thing. It can also be SUPER BUSY here, tho. Don't ask me when are those times, but it surely does. Being one of the very few offices in the Eastside to cater millions of residents' correspondence, logistics, supplies, and what not... you will be scratching your "not itchy" head when you're at the perfect timing of a busy time/day 😀 the building is forever years old and hasn't been updated or even got some spruce up ;) the wall that got drove-in a couple years back is now again safe.

I love this usps always been friendly to me sometimes lines can be long which is why you should do all packaging & taping before you get there ....there won't be any for you unless you purchase it which is fine with me i can see how that may be taken advantage of.

I’ve only gone into this post office twice and both times been helped by the Asian woman with colorful glasses. She is so rude and argumentative. First she told me that I couldn’t get a P.o. box key because I was staying in an airbnb which was “not a real address”. I didn’t have mailbox access at my temporary address for three months, and a P.o. box was my only solution. I had just moved 3000 miles across the country and hasn’t established a permanent residence yet, but my drivers license wasn’t sufficient because I had told her I didn’t live there anymore?? Isnt that what P.o. boxes are for?? It took me asking for her manager for me to actually get the key I paid $60 for. My P.o. Box period ended and an employee over the phone stated that she would hold the mail that was left in the box for me. I went to retrieve my mail and turn in my key today, and the same woman helped me. First she told me that my P.o. box number didn’t exist. So I gave her my last name, but she told me she couldn’t look up my mail by my last name, only my P.o. box number, which she was adamant didn’t exist. Even thought I explained that the employee over the phone cancelled and removed everything from my P.o. box days before. She told me to “call and sort this out with my husband” which really offended me, treating me like I’m less than a man because she can’t get her information straight. While pulling up my p.o. box number in my email, she brushed me off and called another customer to help them. Again so rude and unnecessary. After waiting for her to finish with the customer she let cut in front of me, she then tried to then take another customer and I had to excuse myself in front of them. I showed her the exact P.o. box number on my cancellation email, and she found the box number on the exact paper log she looked in before (the same one she argued with me saying didn’t exist), said my name allowed and then was all the sudden able to find my mail. Why does she gaslight and argue with every customer? I have left both times so angry because she argued with me over nothing. Is this some type of power trip she enjoys? I’m so glad I never have to come back to this location.
