  I recently accompanied a friend to this location to return a medical specimen kit to her physician. Uncertain of the precise return procedure, she requested clarification from the individual at the counter. Rather than providing assistance, the employee responded with open mockery and several pointed, sarcastic remarks—delivered audibly in the presence of other customers. My friend is living with stage 4 cancer and had just left her doctor’s office. The interaction was both unnecessary and needlessly demeaning. Judging by multiple other reviews, this appears to be a recurring pattern of conduct rather than an isolated lapse. I have already escalated the matter to corporate. Until this employee is removed from customer service, I strongly recommend using a different location unless aggravation is something you enjoy.

  If -0 were an option, I’d proudly select it with both hands. I am absolutely appalled by this man’s attitude. The confidence he has for someone who clearly knows approximately 12% of what he thinks he knows is honestly impressive. Every time he opens his mouth, I start questioning every decision that led me to this moment. Like, “Was this really necessary? Could I have stayed home? Did I take a wrong turn in life?” At this point, I’d genuinely rather fight off the predator than go back there. At least the predator has a purpose. Hell, I’d probably contribute more to the community by wrestling it than I would sitting through another conversation with him.

  Response to response: I'm not sure why "rude" and "snippy" need clarification but for today's example, the older lady was shipping something to her mother and she mentioned something about her mother paying for it, I think meaning her mother was reimbursing her. She was just making conversation and the man rudely cut her off with "What about your mother??" in a very condescending tone. I could see she was taken aback and embarrassed. He has been similarly rude to me when I've been returning Amazon packages, complaining about the box I used (which happened to be a perfectly decent box that was a lot smaller than the shipping box that came with multiple items) and being upset that I took maybe 20 seconds to bring up the code for the second return while he had to wait (I was the only one there). It had nothing to do with complicated shipping options, he was just plain rude. If the UPS store is my only option, I'll save it and drop off in Olympia instead. This is a reasonably accessible drop-off location but it only has one employee and he is extremely rude. I've dealt with him several times and it's always the same. Today he was being really snippy with the sweet old lady in front of me so I left. He acts very annoyed if the customer doesn't know everything about UPS shipping instead of just explaining the options available. Avoid this shipper and use the off-brand multi-service shipping store across town, if possible.
