- KLK. Wayne LoudSep 15, 20211.0I am a tourist visiting Woodstock for the first time, staying at the Quechee State Campground. Today, I needed to mail a letter, and chose to do business with this office. I was going down Center St in a thunderstorm downpour, missing the outside entrance. I quickly made a right turn pulling in the area to the side of the building. When I pulled in to the parking space I noticed a sign stating I was in a no parking spot. A mailman was removing mail from his mail truck. I decided to ask him if I could give him my letter and leave. No sooner I stood up from the driver’s seat, I heard this man shout rudely I couldn’t park there, and demanded me to move my car. I walked 50’ to the mailbox in front of the office, returning to my car in approximately 45 seconds. Returning to my car I was confronted by the female manager, demanding me to leave and shouting never to step foot on their property again. My wife and I came to Woodstock to see the fall colors like many tourists this time of year. Don’t frequent this post office, or you will receive the same pungent customer service. I would rate this post office a zero, but their algorithm forces me to at least choose one star before they will accept this review.
