I have to pickup my overnight delivery!!!!!!!!!! and its been sitting there for 2 days! Someone do something with this awful post office. Hire contractors to get the mail where it needs to go. Why pay for it when you do not deliver it.

This is a Great post office, people acting like it’s life and death when they don’t get there mail on time or packages, there are bigger issues in the world than mail lol, “haven’t gotten mail in a week” maybe stop by the post office and ask what’s going on, and maybe they’ll let you pick up the mail, it’s obvious they don’t have enough ppl working there, so it shouldn’t be any suprise to anybody in town why inconsistency’s happen, it’s common sense, the reviews are not justified as they are short staffed, in order to win a championship you need a whole roster, not just a starting lineup 💯

All of the negative reviews are incredibly justified. If I had known recieving mail in Colchester was going to be a constant pain I would have chosen to move elsewhere. I live on MAIN ST and was told it's a 'delayed' route. I haven't received mail in over a month at this point, and it's the second time this year it has happened.

I sincerely hope this post office is able to get the additional help it needs soon. The staff I've interacted with have always been kind and as helpful as they can be, but it's clear the office is severely understaffed. Unfortunately, I've had the same experience as many other reviewers, with packages arriving weeks after their expected delivery dates. I've even had to repurchase items and have them shipped to family members so I could receive them in time. This isn't just an inconvenience- it costs people time, money, and unnecessary stress. I genuinely feel for both the employees doing their best under difficult circumstances and the residents who depend on reliable mail service. I hope USPS provides this office with the support it clearly needs.

This place needs some serious help. So sick of the mail being delayed a week sometimes 2. I am waiting for my License to be delivered its been over a week since it was mailed so I went to the Post Office to pick it up. Well after he went in the back to check he comes back empty handed and said the guy who sorts the mail was out today! How is there only 1 person whom sorts the mail?
