- SSStormy SmithJul 20, 20261.0The Staunton post office is a joke I don’t know if I’m more mad at the supervisor or the mailman that has a habit of putting everybody's Mail that lives around me in wrong mailboxes. Me and my neighbor have the same last name and I’m constantly getting important documents and she gets mine. I have talked to the mailman personally and let him know to pay more attention to the unit number and not the names but still the same problem so today I went in to talk to the supervisor he called the mailman. He went back and checked to see if he put it in someone else’s mailbox as if someone couldn’t have already checked their mail. That dude is forever pulled over in my apartments smoking cigarettes, surfing on his phone doing everything but his job something has to be done about this. The supervisor told me if I don’t get my mail in 1 to 2 days call the people who sent it to me and told me tell them that I didn’t receive it. what the hell isn’t that the point of having an Informed Delivery? Then wanted me to describe the person who’s smoking in the mail truck you know who is smoking in the mail truck whoever is delivering the damn mail 🤦🏽♀️

She was very helpful, and made the stressful time I'd been having with getting a change of address accomplished. She even helped me fill out the form when I had questions. This is by far the BEST experience I have ever had in any post office anywhere. Thank you!
