- EHEthan harperSep 29, 20261.0I had an important letter from my bank arrive while I was out of town that I wanted to be forwarded to where I was staying in Georgia, so I payed for express shipping and had my sister bring it to the post office. A week later and it still hadn't shown up and the USPS tracker says it hasn't even left the saltville post office. I had my sister go in person to ask what was going on and the representative immediately said it had been lost and there was nothing they could do except for me to submit a claim. This is my 3rd time having mail disappear while in USPS hands and I will not be utilizing they're services from now on.

The Female clerk was chatting with a lady For 20 mts. I waited patiently. I was Not helped or acknowledged even. I Had Business mail to get out that day. They were not doing postal business Just talking. I’m from a kill you with Kindness State- to totally be treated Like I was not in the room was Lose Your job worthy!! I do my business At the Chilhowie Post Office 10 miles From my home. Saltville needs People And Business for the sake of the Town And I for one could not be more Disappointed. I would be happy to Speak to the Post Master. As perhaps He can find a few Good people who Would love that job.

I can say with confidence, that this is the best post office for prompt, friendly and professional service!
