AVOID THIS LOCATION! August 4th at around 830 am I went to this location to ship a box. I was told her shipping label printer wasn't working and wouldn't arrive for two weeks. This isn't the first time I have been told this in the last three months. In this last few months because I use this USPS services frequently, I have been told this same thing about their shipping label printer being out of service. I have mailed boxes after the last time I was told this excuse. My theory is I'm told that when they just don't want to do their job. I recommend the 1st view post office over this location for great and quick service! I should have just gone to the 1st view location and avoided the hassle.

This place should be shut down or New Management needs to take over. I went there on FridayJune 5th, and there was a ghetto sign posted on the door that they were closing at 12:55pm and re-opening at 2:05pm. Then the 2:05pm was crossed out and replaced by 2:15pm. Me and about 11 other customers were standing outside of the door since 2:00pm. They did not re-open until 2:25 pm. The customer that was standing behind me kept ringing the bell and knocking on the door since 2:17pm. She did this about three or 4 times. It was ridiculous that she had to ring and knock for 8 minutes. An associate finally came to the door...no apologies for being 10 min late or nothing. My package is lost somewhere and I honestly believe that it never left this facility. The female Manager said that my package left their office and it is in the Richmond Receiving Facility. It is a little delayed but should be shipping out soon. My package was scheduled to reach it's destination on Thursday(June 4th) and it is now June 6th and my qr code is still reading the Receiving facility. These people will see my face everyday until my package reaches its destination.

I’m more upset with the post office than the person that helped me. The person was kind but gave me no more information than what I already knew before coming there. You pay for priority mail 2-3 days and for WHAT! I don’t care that the clerk says it’s estimated but so is regular mail so I might as well sent it regular mail. Estimation for me is four days the latest. Put ESTIMATED delivery time in BOLD letters on the sign in the post office that shows the cost and time for 2-3 days then people will know it can take as much as a week or two even though you’re paying for 2-3 days.
Can’t understand why I paid $12 dollars for 2-3 day delivery and a week is gone by and the mail has not been delivered. All it’s saying is departed the Norfolk VA post office which is where it started out. The mail might as well gone regular mail. Who in there right mind would pay extra for something that won’t get there 2 to 3 or even four days. What a waste of my time and money and because it was a pay off on a bill I will now miss the deadline and will have to pay more money plus more postage to send in another payment, bad enough I paid extra to the post office. What a rip off. Won’t happen again, that’s for sure.
