- FLFred Lowell3 days ago5.0I went there this morning to mail out a package. After reading all the negative reviews I decided to go before they opened at 10. I arrived at 9:40 and walked in. No one in the parking lot or foyer. 5 minutes before opening in came the people and the line was 12-15 people deep. At 9:59 the young lady opened the doors and allowed us in. I was welcomed in with a smile in her face and was helped immediately. There were 2 young ladies to assist everyone and before I backed out of the parking lot the line was empty. Well done.

Please hire people here I am so tired of this and then having to wait 1-2hrs just to ship my packages when they’re open again. Staff here is nice however they are slow and there is not enough of them. Yesterday I came at noon and they were closed due to short staffing, today open but with a line all the way to the end of the secondary lobby before noon. No kiosk and no where to drop packages so you have to wait. Located by military base so people are shipping all the time. They can’t keep staff here and the line is ALWAYS this long. I have to ship things every other day and the line is almost always out the door. It is ridiculous!! They need a kiosk or something needs to change here because as a customer it is hell just coming here. This is my least favorite post office in Norfolk but unfortunately there isn’t another close to me. Please hire more people or get a damn kiosk!!!!!!!

Trying to drop something off on a Saturday? Don't be ridiculous! Hire reliable staff or close this location entirely. We would rather have it not listed as an option than to be disappointed every.single.time 😔
