  I took my 6-week-old baby to this office for a passport appointment, and the experience was terrible. The employee handling the process was extremely unkind and showed zero empathy or professionalism. I paid to have my baby’s passport picture taken there, yet they didn’t even have a proper surface or changing table to place a newborn on. Instead, they made me lay my 6-week-old baby on the dirty floor on top of an old white cardboard piece that was clearly filthy. Then they asked if I had brought a white blanket — something no one told me beforehand. Thankfully I happened to have one with me. I honestly could not believe they expect parents to place newborn babies on the floor because they don’t have basic accommodations for infants. The entire office also looked dirty and poorly maintained. If you have the option to go somewhere else for a passport appointment, do yourself a favor and skip this location. Very poor service and an awful experience overall.

  The website says passport walk-ins are accepted on Saturdays from 10-11am. We arrived before 10am and were told they only take 3 walk-ins total and that we were already too late. That makes absolutely no sense considering it wasn’t even 10 yet. What made it more frustrating was seeing the woman directly in front of us get accepted for the same service. The process feels inconsistent and poorly communicated. If there are limited walk-in spots, that information should be clearly posted online so people don’t waste their time driving there based on inaccurate information.

  My first time here, Kevin and the lady really helped me out even after close. They were truly helpful and accommodating, very nice customer service.

  I had a very frustrating experience trying to use the walk-in passport service. The website states there is a one-hour window for walk-ins, so I arrived about 10 minutes after it began with my 7-month-old son, expecting to be helped within that timeframe. After waiting in line, I was told that in order to be seen, you actually need to arrive before the window opens to secure one of only three tickets. This policy is not mentioned anywhere on the website. When I asked for clarification, I was told the only notice is a sign posted inside the post office, which is something you wouldn’t see until after already arriving. That lack of clear communication makes the process unnecessarily difficult, especially for parents or anyone trying to plan ahead. Overall, very disappointing experience due to misleading information and poor communication. The only reason they are getting two stars is because the man working the counter was friendly and polite.

  Run for your lives. Do not use this post office for any reason if you value honesty, timeliness, or human decency. I’ve given them 3 chances and every time I leave in disgust for the way they treat customers including children. I can’t believe people like that exist yet work at a USPS.
