People that work there are zero help. I can see why costumers avoid going to that store

I called before I left work to try and get my question answered, but I was literally on hold for over 20 minutes; I had the phone on speakerphone while I packed up to go and I finally hung up. I was never received by anyone over the phone, they just left me there in the cyber cycle. When I got to the store, I understood the phone incident clearly. The store is a mess. There’s stuff all over the place and the employees pay zero attention to the customers. There was only one person working at the front & he was doing a passport photo for a customer and no one else was at the registers so there was a line of customers waiting to check out. There was someone that looked like they may have been a manager but they were on their cell phone, ignoring their employees and the customers and the mess. At the printing section there was also only one person working and she was helping a customer that was literally taking forever with her order, and nothing wrong with that except when an employee can’t multitask. She did not make eye contact or even try to acknowledge anyone. She just totally ignored everyone except the lady she was helping; no attempt to see what you need or if she could assist quickly before going back to the customer who was on a marathon order. The people in front of me must have been waiting for a bit because I had already been waiting 10 minutes so no surprise that when called I was on hold. The printing department is also where you can mail UPS, but there was packages laying around and trash and a mess, and sadly I would not trust my return in their hands. This store definitely lacks leadership or maybe corporate doesn’t care. I don’t know.

I’m not wanting to leave reviews, but my experience was so horrible that I felt I had to make other others aware. I went into this location because it was nearest my work to make an Amazon return. The moment I walked in, there was a line and only one girl working, who was clearly visibly stressed. She appeared to not know what she was doing and was all over the place. Items were not getting scanned correctly and people were in line for what seems like forever. Whenever I make returns at Whole Foods for Amazon, I’m literally in and out even when there is a line. This girl supposedly scanned my package in, was struggling to tape it up so she asked me if I could hold the tape while she closed the box. I’m all about helping people, but this was extremely unprofessional. Whenever I make returns at Whole Foods, I almost instantly get an email saying that my return has been received This did not happen, but I gave it a day to see if maybe it takes longer at Staples once I didn’t receive anything the next day I went again in person. The same girl was there and I told her hey I made a return with you yesterday, but I haven’t received email confirmation and she looked into it and told me since I already returned it. She couldn’t scan my code again and I told her that’s not my problem. It was done incorrectly on your side so now I’m not gonna get a refund for something that was $50 that I very clearly returned to you. I asked to speak to a manager and he basically told me the same thing and I said I’m not leaving here without a return because I returned it yesterday, the girl confirmed she remembered me returning it yesterday, and there’s cameras of me returning it yesterday. He appeared visibly annoyed and irritated. He told me to wait a second and walked off and came back, huffing and puffing with some device and said OK. I will scan it for you even though we already shipped it out. Amazon gave me credit for it instantly however a few weeks ago I received an email from Amazon saying that they received my return but that it was the incorrect item. So this girl not only messed everything up but she sent out and boxed a completely wrong item under my name. Amazon informed me that they will be charging me again since they had given me that temporary credit. Luckily Amazon’s customer service is excellent and I explained to them the situation so they said no worries we won’t charge you. Please be aware of the Staples location. They are extremely understaffed and don’t know what the hell they’re doing. Do not and I repeat do not make your Amazon returns at this location.
