- JMJoy MooreAug 17, 20261.0Very disappointed with today’s (08/17/2026) service. I had requested a porch pickup for a package. I received confirmation that the package would be picked up during regular hours. I received an email today that the package had been picked up, BUT it is still sitting on my porch. I called the local post office, spoke with post master, and was told that he would send carrier back to get it. But no one ever showed up. As a disabled senior citizen, I can not handle a 10 lb package to take to post office. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Guess I will try again tomorrow. The Colonial Heights, VA post office has horrible service with delivery and pickup. The postmaster is always rude, and makes up excuses which are never the truth. I will say that if you go inside this location, the counter staff is always polite and friendly.
