  Ups can be slow but today I went in and I saw two familiar faces. Amy and Christian were behind the counter. There was an enormous line it was very busy on a Saturday and my first thought was oh no this is going to take forever. But I've noticed in the past that Amy and Christian seem to really hustle behind the counter. They must have handled a customer every 30 seconds. What I thought was going to be a 20-minute stop was 5 minutes in and out the door. It really is a breath of fresh air seeing people who take their roll seriously and hustle even when being lackadaisical would suffice. There have been other good employees whose names I don't know in the past but around a year ago the store was populated by people moving at more of a walk speed (which is understandable) so stops there when it was busy would be of much more inconvenient interruption a busy day. I hope the trend lately of seeing really motivated friendly and expeditious employees continues. My family like many young families have more than our share of Amazon returns and frequent drop-offs. Even when I've done something wrong or misspacked something this store is always able to handle it or give me clear instructions (I.e. "hey doofus this return says Kohl's on it 😂) 10 out of 10, great spot to do returns. I prefer it over any of the other local options and I have tried all of them. I've also needed various services including notaries and document printing, this is always the place to go. It's easier for me to get documents printed here than it is for me to try and keep a printer working, full of ink, and successfully connected to my computer at home. Every time I come here they just have me email it to the store email and out I go with correctly printed 100 page docs at a reasonable price. Pro tip, it's easier to park in back and there's a back door.

  I have been a customer of this location for the past 6 years. On Sept 9, 2026 I had a box shipped to Tx. It was damaged in route and coded that the recipient refused it. Which was not true because it was never delivered. The box was so damaged UPS decided to send it back to Richmond. It was coded on tracking that they called me the sender. Which again was not true. I visited this store 3 times to follow up. UPS finally returned it Sept 22 crushed. The manager did try to file a claim for the insurance that they say you are entitled to unless you pay more. It was refused. I visited again today to see if I could at least get my shipping fee of over $100 refunded since they never delivered my box. The answer I got was no, they will not refund my money. They say corporate changed their policy so you can send a package from the store and it gets damaged and returned and they are not obligated to refund your money. Of course they don't share that with the public. I will never send another package UPS. Especially since the holidays are coming up. My package was delivered safely by FedEx after I replaced the broken contents. I plan to share this information with as many people as I can to spare anyone else of this nightmare.

  I dropped off a package at this UPS store yesterday. I needed to make some copies of some documents and asked how the copy machines worked. Miles, the employee who was waiting on me, said he would make them for me. He took my copies over to the copier and carefully checked whether there was printing on one side or both sides of the sheet. He kept them separate and put them into piles of originals and copies. While he was doing this, he would politely step aside if another employee needed to make some copies for other people who were in line. This was done seamlessly. Every time I’ve gone to the UPS location, it has been very very busy. All of the employees work very hard and as quickly as possible to get everyone through as quickly as they can. I was very impressed with how kind and professional Miles was and wanted them to know that he’s doing an excellent job for them.
