    this has to be THE worst post office I've ever experienced in my half a century of life. any time I have had to come here it's been enraging. I would list all the reasons why it's awful but I don't feel like writing a novel. it would be quicker to list the positives so here we go: 1. .... yep. nothing.

    This post office is actually just awful. I live in great bridge, this is our closest available location. OFTEN there will be no one working the front, or there will be a staff there and they will direct you to use the self serve kiosk as they won’t take anyone saying they are closed during expected business hours. Staffing issues arise in any company, but this is constant. I’ve waited in line for 45 minutes to get to the front at 4pm, and being told they won’t take anyone else. I don’t understand how a federal building is allowed to function at this level. I now have to drive 15-20 minutes to the further location on battlefield…which always has at least 2 people at the desk, and is amazing. The manager that will often be by herself in the front lobby, will tell you she can’t take anyone because they don’t have the staff. So instead of just taking the people who come in, she waits around to direct them to the kiosk. I thought management was supposed to fill any cracks in staffing? I’ve never witnessed anything like it in my professional experience. I hope they overhaul this location. It has a horrible reputation in the neighborhood, it’s embarrassing. This has been my experience.. consistently.. for the past year.. until I gave up and changed locations.

    Best post office I have ever visited. I moved and needed to change my address but just got married so had multiple things going on, both Jasmine and Levon (sp) were very friendly and helpful to make it happen after having issues processing it online. Watching them interact with other customers they were just amazing!

    I mailed a package to my son in florida and it ended up in Jamaica. My son finally received it almost after almost a month 2 months. Today I went and asked the guy about my other package ( returned to sender ) and I don't think so he knows what he's talking about. He gave me a piece of paper and told me it was delivered 3/24 . I called the 800 and I was told my package was already delivered at chesapeake post office 3/24 but someone scan it and miss ship so now it was returned to the main office and it'll go back to chesapeake again then it'll delivered it to me ( finally ) so the guy didn't tell me about it that my package arrived already and someone just made a mistake.
