I bought a small box for $10 here, then tried to return it not more than 5 minutes later and was told “no returns on boxes, even if you just bought it.” Really? What did they think might have happened to the box in the last 5 minutes? Terrible, overpriced place.

I waited to drop off a package while the folks behind the counter chatted it up with a customer that seem to be a former staff member. While I waited, I heard all of the office gossip saw introductions between new staff and old, and so on. When the social visit was finally over, I was called up to the counter with less enthusiasm than a sleeping goldfish. After a quick weigh and dimension check of my package (only 6 lbs and a normal box size) I was informed that it would cost over $35 to send it to Massachusetts. Further, the guy behind the counter told me that my packaging wasn't good enough and I need to spend another $25+ on their packaging to send it out. Are you kidding me? I walked out, sat in my car, entered the same weight and dimensions into another carrier's website and was only charged $12. You can guess where I'm headed tomorrow morning. I won't be back to this UPS store ever again.
