I wish I could give negative stars. The front desk service is horrible. That lady saw me taping my boxes and proceeded to leave the desk and didn’t return until I rang the bell after other customers wondered if they knew we were there. Then she tells me is almost $100 for a box with a prepaid label. I went to UPS down the road who was charging half as much and told me I really should just mail with the prepaid label. This is a public office and should be run better. You still owe courteous service to your patrons. Please provide customer service training to your staff.

Fair enough that they close for a lunch break as is the local custom. But taking a bathroom break immediately after a lunch break? And then coming back from the break only to give exceptionally rude service (ignoring customers to go back to get their phone) and then offer incorrect information? Outrageous!

I’m not normally one to leave a negative review, but today, July 18, I came into the post office and I was the only customer. The worker was there on her phone. I had packages that needed scanning, but instead of her servicing me, she told me to put it in the bin where the PO boxes are. My packages are prepaid all she would have to do is scan it and give me a receipt so I can tell my customers their order is shipped and the tracking number. It is unacceptable that they cannot provide a quick, everyday service and would rather be on their phones. This is not the first time they have been rude and made me feel uncomfortable in this location. I drive further away to another USPS but that’s not right to put more work on other locations just because people here don’t want to do their job.

Hours of operation? Yeah, those are merely suggestions Take now, Google says it’s open, as does the time on the front door. But nope, no work today.

This review is specifically about Shuvasish Roy. I had some important docs to send out to a consulate in DC that also required me to place a return mailer with tracking inside the outbound mailer (also with tracking) so I could receive the effectuated docs from the consulate. Last month under similar circumstances, a lady assisted me with no issue. Shuvashish insistently vehemently that was not possible. It took me getting back to my car & going to another USPS location to get the very same thing done without hassle. Unprofessional & Incompetent is who he is.
