- JKJames Kennedy1 day ago1.0Arrived first thing when they opened this morning. Staff is rude. Couldn't even day good morning or thank you. Might as well have been dealing with a voiceless robot. Area doesn't look like it had vern cleaned or vacuumed in some time. Take some pride! If you hate your job find a new one!

Before moving, I visited the Franconia Post Office at 5221 Franconia Road and submitted what I was told was a complete change-of-address request in person. I also paid the amount I was asked to pay at the counter. However, as of August 24—nearly three months later—my mail is still being delivered to my former address. When I created a USPS online account today to investigate the problem, I found no indication that my mail forwarding was active. I had to submit another change-of-address request online, and this time I immediately received an official USPS confirmation code. This is far more serious than a minor inconvenience. Other people now live at my former address, and I cannot simply go there to inspect or retrieve my mail. I am deeply concerned that important or sensitive documents may have been lost or delivered to people who should never have received them. I am extremely disappointed by this office’s failure to properly process or follow up on such an important request. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend relying on this location for change-of-address services. If you use this office, verify your request online immediately and make sure you receive an official USPS confirmation code. I hope USPS investigates what happened and explains why a request submitted in person was apparently never carried out.

This post office has continued to say they were delivered and blames someone in my building for stealing them. Despite in the past me catching one of the postal carriers still having the package in their truck. Now today 7/15 the young lady delivering marked them as delivered but did not deliver the packages. I went and checked after her and there was no package. She refused to give me her name and said she delivered them despite me being there and checking right after she left.
