Called to get a document notarized and the person answered the phone said they shut their notarizing systems down at 7:00 PM. When do they use anything other than a stamped seal… lol he didn’t know I was needing my notary application signed. I tell you. UPS would have a fit on losing out on money because employees are being untruthful!
I’ve been a fan of this store for 5 years, but had a serious misunderstanding after an employee gave me wrong info on a shipment. I explained the situation to owner Chris, who courteously and quickly resolved the situation. Back as a 5-star fan! Good people, good store, good service, even when they make a mistake!

This has Always been a Great store with the Best Customer Service Ever. NOT Today. This Chris person reluctantly makes his way to where I was waiting to drop off 46 lbs of banquet tables. He only stared at me as I struggled to get them on the counter. I asked if he could help, that put him in an even more irritated mood if that’s possible. I’m a 67 year old senior and can’t lift boxes the way I used to. Saw he had a tape gun and I asked for a small piece of tape for the label, got read the riot act that’s not how ANY of this return is/was done should all be In 1 box. Told him this is the way it came from Amazon how was I to stuff 2 6 foot tables in 1 box. Finally he scanned my label perhaps it maybe would make it to returns, I put 2 labels front & back for the driver.This guy either needs sensitivity training I’m Gay, Customer Service training and what the definition is, or maybe a job being with only his Superior self basking in his self proclaimed importance. It’s a Shame since there has only been the Most Helpful, Friendly, Knowledgeable , Detailed Oriented,Associates here and any other UPS Store I have ever been to. Now here he is…, I Really Miss the shipping center, they were All Awesome!!!

I have been a long-term customer of this UPS Store, and until today, I had never had a problem here. The staff was always courteous and helpful, and the service was usually quick and professional.
This morning, however, my experience was very different.
I came in to process a return with a QR code. While I was looking for the QR code on my phone, the employee asked me a question that I did not understand. I did not respond right away and continued looking for the QR code to show him. After I found it, he commented that I should have said I had a QR code instead of ignoring him, because his question was whether I was going to pay.
I explained that I genuinely did not know whether payment was required, since some returns are prepaid and some are not. Instead of simply clarifying the process, he continued commenting on what I “should have said when asked.”
English is my forth language, and I found the interaction patronizing and unnecessarily disrespectful. A simple misunderstanding did not justify being lectured by staff. I hope this was an isolated incident, because this experience was very disappointing compared to the professional service I had always received there before.
UPS Kingstown I believe the manager questioned what was in my shipping box. I told him the price because I know that is important. However, he wanted specific details. I have been to this UPS in the past, and no one ever questioned the exact content of my package. I have seen the same guy there not question orher patrons. He had a very unfriendly disposition. Be careful, not all are treated fairly.
