I dropped my package in the drop box and the agent back there never did the first scan. I contacted USPS and the investigator never found my package! I don’t trust the drop box anymore, I lost money because my buyer asked for a refund! MY ADVICE IS TO GO INSIDE, MAKE THE LINE AND HAVE THEM DO THE FIRST SCAN IN FRONT OF YOU! ITS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE SURE THEY START TRACKING!

Why is it that even though the delivery instructions specifically state that the contents are live plants—and explicitly request that the package NOT be left in the mailbox, but rather delivered to the front door—the delivery driver completely disregards this and leaves it in the mailbox anyway? Seriously? Where is the trust and reliability in the US Post Office's delivery service? Thank God I was keeping a close watch for when the status would update to "delivered"; the moment I saw in the system that it had been delivered, I rushed out to retrieve it. And by then, the leaves on the baby plants were already starting to wilt. As you can see in the images, basically, the plants were already getting cooked inside the box. And this was after only about an hour had passed since the carrier dropped it off inside the mail box. Please be more responsible and considerate, and properly train your delivery drivers! Because this is not the first time something like this has happened with US Post Office carriers. Sometimes they also leave mail containing sensitive information—or actual products—in other people's mailboxes. The system shows it as "delivered to mailbox," yet the package or envelope isn't actually there. That is completely unacceptable. And the worst part is that, most of the time, we never recover what was lost. This also contributes to identity theft, because that information doesn't always fall into the hands of decent people. I believe we should sue the U.S. Post Office for the damages and losses incurred. This happened today March, Tuesday the 07th, 2026, in West Valley City, Utah 84120.
