- MAMaya AllredJun 26, 20261.0The US Post Office has made it clear that they are not beholden to the American public, so the best I can do is but further spread awareness of how awful the organization is in hopes that it gets seriously reformed or shut down. My husband and I worked very hard on our son's birthday invitations and put a lot of effort into making them look nice. Without even asking if I wanted to pay for the upgraded stamps, the clerk working at 4:45pm on 6/26/2026 started putting tags on the envelopes that ruined their look. I said that I would prefer not to have them and she just said "well lesson learned." I'm so upset that there is no recourse when my time and money is spent and ruined by government workers who are supposed to serve the public. This is also my second time having to come here today, because the office was shut down for lunch so I had to waste time and gas. The least they could do is be polite.
