It was a waste of time to come here, but at least it wasn't less than a waste of time... Just know that you probably won't be listened to, and the people that run the place will think they know better than you.
I needed help finding a job since some specific circumstances (e.g. health limitations) have made it difficult for me to apply to many normal jobs, so I hoped that someone here would be able to help me find a job that would work for me. I instead ended up spending the next 20-30 min with an older guy who was convinced that all I needed to do was to make a resume first—using AI generation—and then throw it at a bunch of different jobs and see if it stuck. I was never actually given any help in finding jobs to send it to, though; the guy only wanted to focus on making a resume. If I had needed help in putting together a resume, I would have asked for that help; I was well-trained in my college education in putting resumes together. I felt ignored and knew it would be pointless to say anything on my mind, so I politely communicated with him the best I could while the time with him lasted. I will not come back, and would not recommend it to anyone else...unless they need help making a resume and don't know how to use AI-powered resume generators.

someone here told me that if I wasn't willing to work on Sunday it would be very unlikely for me to find a job. a long time ago I promised the Lord I'd never work on Sunday, so I did not listen to the person who told me that here. I've never ever had good luck breaking one of my promises to the Lord. I'm very grateful I followed the Spirit instead of letting what I was told here discourage me because the Lord took care of me in a fantastic way. the Church is true and Church employees/volunteers are really trying their best but if it ever comes down to following the Spirit or taking bad advice from a Church employee or volunteer always follow the Spirit. the Lord has promised to make a way for those who honor their covenants, including by keeping the Sabbath according to His instructions to you through the Spirit, and I'm here to say the Lord provided a magnificent way for me and I'm so thankful.
