I got there when the store opened and I wasn't allowed to do return because "We don't have enough space" and literally the space was empty. At least post it online or use a sign or something. I had 7 small pencil boxes... not the first time I get the same bad service in the store. finally leaving a review.

First off, I should say that Tammy who was working at the register I ended up at, was super kind and patient. I came in to redeem the free Astrobright paper deal. I was buying a couple things and with the purchase of 1 item, the paper should be free. The email I got from Staples did not give me a barcode. I was logged into my account but even the guy (Brent or Brett? I think) was unable, or maybe unwilling, to override the error of me not being able to pull up a barcode to scan. I clipped all the deals when I was logged in and it still wasn't letting the paper ring up at $0.00. Staples deals are impossible to redeem and I wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work, as did Tammy. It was disappointing and I walked out not getting anything at all because I was so annoyed. Not the particular stores fault but I hope this gets the attention of Staples to fix things and make it so the customer doesn't have to jump through endless hoops to get the freebie deal. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth for Staples and makes me have no desire to even go in even though I always see cool items when I do take the time to shop there.

I have had great experiences in the past with this store but my most recent visit was unfortunately not a good one. One of their services is adding spiraling to books. I am a pianist and have had them do this with every one of my piano books and they’ve turned out great. This last time the spiraling did not cover the full length of the binding on the piano books. The rep who was there when we picked them up noticed the issue and tried to be as helpful as she could. She attempted to help by trying it again but it made it worse to where the holes cut out some of the music on one so we decided to leave it the way it is on the second piano book. The frustrating part of all this is these two books cost nearly $60 to replace.
