  I was directed by Amazon online returns to Staples as my only option to return an item that did not work for me. It is a far drive from my house but I made the time today to drop my package off. I arrived around 3:00 pm today, waited for a couple of customers to be attended, then, it was my turn! The employee at the “Amazon returns” register did not say hello or even acknowledged my presence; looking at my phone, he gestured with his scanner that he was about to scan my return, no questions or comments while processing. After scanning and taking my small box out of the original packaging (paper bag), he continued to tape the small box and pushed the bag towards my hand which I had resting at the counter, and he still did not talk to me. I folded the bag and waited, then he said, “your receipt will be emailed”. So, realizing he was done with me, I asked if he could take care of the paper bag (since he did not use it) and he responded “you can take it with you”; I then, very politely asked if he could throw it away for me; I had spotted a garbage can; he said he did not have a garbage can. I pointed at his can on his left side and said there is one; he then very rudely grabbed the bag and with an angry gesture threw it inside the can as hard as he could letting me know he was not happy; he gave me the ugliest look and started talking to himself as he turned around pretending he was working on some other items. I did find a Supervisor (I was told there not a Manager available) and reported the incident. I am aware that it is very hard to find good customer service nowadays. Most places make you feel like they are doing you a favor by having the items or services you are looking for; but, this particular worker projects to be a very angry at the world person whom doesn’t want to deal with you because that means he would have to work!!!!

  Theres only one check out for Amazon returns. Other employees & no help. Been in this long for 10 mins. It’s ridiculous.

  Heh, love how big corporations die and suddenly other companies take a bite of what they have to fit their desires. Ex: Toys r us in Macy's. As they now have "Party city" in there...at least these folks dont be forgotten entirely.

  Came to Houston for conference. Staple at other location could not print my poster as their printer broke down. Giordano/ I hope, I got his name correct….it was really very kind of him to rush the order, he was very helpful. I would give 10 stars if i could.

  Cashier was nice and friendly. They had everything I needed and I was in and out within 10 to 15 minutes. However, it was a little pricier than the same item at other stores but the lines weren't near as long to check out so that convenience was worth it to me.
