  I placed an online print order with the FedEx Ship Center in Waxahachie on Saturday, July 25th. I emailed my order at 1:00 p.m. with clear instructions to print the documents in the order of the attachments, in color, so they would be ready for pickup at 4:00 p.m. After receiving only an automated response stating that a team member would contact me within an hour, I still hadn't heard from anyone by 3:00 p.m. I called the store and spoke with Eric, who explained they were behind on online orders and had not yet reviewed my email. During our conversation, I again gave him my instructions and confirmed that I wanted the documents printed double-sided. When I arrived at approximately 5:30 p.m., my order had been printed single-sided and completely out of order. As a result, I had to spend the next 25 minutes reorganizing the entire packet before it could even be bound. After Donte bound the documents, he rang up the order. The total came to more than $104, which included approximately $78 for single-sided color printing, a $17.50 priority printing fee for orders over 50 pages, and tax. At no point during my phone conversation did Eric mention the priority fee or explain that printing the job single-sided instead of double-sided would significantly increase the cost. My disappointment isn't about paying for quality work. It's about paying more because my instructions were ignored. Had the order been printed as requested, I would have saved time, paper, and money. Instead, I was left correcting mistakes that should never have happened. Donte was professional and courteous, and I appreciate his effort to help. However, the only resolution offered was a promise to "take care of me next time." Unfortunately, after this experience, there won't be a next time. I understand that businesses get busy, but if a store cannot fulfill an online order as requested, customers should be informed before the job is printed. Clear communication and attention to detail are the minimum expectations when someone is trusting a print center with an important project.
