- ADAmy DonaldsonDec 8, 20255.0It’s about the same distance to this post office as to the nearest one in the other direction from my home. In terms of convenience, it would make far more sense for me to go to the other post office because it’s in an urban shopping area where I can do a lot more than just go to the post office. However, this little country post office is so exponentially better than the one in town, that I’m always willing to make the extra trip. They never fail to provide the very best customer service possible. Consistently a positive experience!

Our mail comes through the Spicewood Post Office but, it's not "on our way" to anywhere. Lakeway is closer to my office but they are the worst. Not freindly, very slooooow service, never pick up their phone and much mis-delivered mail when I lived in that area. The Spicewood PO does a good job of delivering our mail and when I have a question about mailing, I'll call and they pick-up immediately and provide me with a helpful answer.

I am trying to track down my mail, and one post office doesn't answer....the phone just rings and rings, and this one keeps giving me a busy signal. Goodness, what does it take to reach a customer service representative at the post office. I like to think I support labor and unions, but it sure is hard to get behind the post office given the weak customer service they provide, overall. When posing a questions, it seems one has to go in person and stand in line, sometimes a long one, to get the answer. Why offer ph#s when no one will answer or if they will be continuously busy, for whatever reason, perhaps, it is just left off the hook.
