  Don't expect efficiency or your mail to come from this facility. Today, I'm missing an insurance statement that was scanned but never made it to my mailbox, I've had data breach letters sent to my minor kids that never made it to my house.. though I've gone paperless, I've had to call around to NOT send any documents through ANY Houston area USPS sites, fo paperless or send through a responsible carrier. And please! Tell me where it makes sense package gets to a distribution center near address then gets redistributed to Chicago? OIG website just sends you back to USPS site.   Love this location , don’t mind driving 40 min . We’ve been coming here for passport and the service is always excellent. No appointment needed. They do all the work for you , just show up , have your application ready and you’re all set . Tassia and Lilian are great.

  I paid $147 for USPS Express Mail (overnight) and was told that if my package was not delivered on time, I would be entitled to a refund. When my package arrived 3days late, I called customer service and was told I could go to the post office and receive my refund, even though I did not have the physical receipt but I had a picture of it. After making the trip to the post office, I was told they could not help me because I did not have the receipt. I explained that the representative I spoke with was aware of that and had specifically told me it would not be an issue. I even asked if they could look up the transaction information, but the cashier insisted her supervisor said no. When I got home, I called customer service again and filed a complaint. This time, I was informed that I could actually submit the refund request online without the physical receipt. So apparently, a receipt is NOT required after all. The lack of consistent information wasted my time and caused unnecessary frustration. If you’re in a similar situation, save yourself a trip to the post office and handle the refund request online instead.
